BELONG TOGETHER WATERLOO
This project was created by Jason Panda, an Artist and Art Educator living and creating in the Waterloo Region.
It was inspired by conversations that he had with his friends, colleagues, students and family during the COVID-19 pandemic. All the talks he had touched on the same theme and, because of this, he designed Belong Together to remind his kids, himself and others: We’re not alone.
The first set of Belong Together tiles were distributed in 2021 and the project was led by Jason Panda (KWPanda) and Cam Turner (Tinker Truck). By the end of the year almost 19,000 tiles were in circulation across the Waterloo Region.
